Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all had a great day with your families and loved ones. I know I did and I am so very thankful for every single one of them. We got to talk to Thomas today. He is doing great in Chicago and has such a sweet spirit. He and Trevor were joking and laughing with each other and we can't wait for him to get home and greet his new little niece. (at least I am praying she is little.) Any way~ Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy New Year!

It's A Girl !!!

So~ Trevor, me and Tonya went to get my ultrasound yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. I was so excited to see my little baby. I was hoping that the baby would cooperate so that the tech could check what they needed to and that we would be able to see what gender the baby was. We started out with the head and all that wonderful stuff and kept going down the body. The baby didn't want to cooperate so that the could check her heart out. It was moving around and kicking and it was sooooo cute. They finally got down to business and found the gender. I was waiting and and waiting and then Yeah!!! It's A Girl!!! oh ya and she double checked just to make sure and it is definitely a girl. As Trevor told his dad he said "no dangler" Later when I was talking to Trey he said that he told Trevor not to get too excited when he saw the umbillical cord(thinking it was the manhood). They are so funny. After the woman told us it was a girl the color pink just wouldn't leave my head. Tonya thinks I am crazy and she is trying to convince me that yellow is a cool color but I just can't do it. I need pink. The tech had to go back and check the heart out because Kherrington wasn't letting her the first time and when she did the baby had hickups and it was so adorable. We got some amazing pictures of her but my favorite one is when she is crossing her arms up by her face. The tech started in 2d but I was very excited when she switched to 3d I didn't know that they had that option. It is so much better in 3d.

Below are the pictures of Kherrington Tamara Whiting!

Crossing her little arms by her face!

Her tiny little legs. Trevor is hoping she is tall.

Her woman hood! Hope she doesn't hate me for putting this up for the world to see!

Her beautiful profile. She has such a cute and tiny nose.

She has her hand up by her head in this picture

Her nose and lips and I love her nose it is so cute.

Her beautiful little hands and yes there are 5 fingers. Although Trevor freaked out a little because she got a view of her thumb and He wasn't litstening and then we went to another view of just her fingers and the tech said "there is 4" Trevor was scared for a second. He is so happy that Kherrington is "structually sound " as he says. Have fun looking at the pics. We are so excited and Tonya alread took me shopping to by her first outfit ever!

I didn't forget I scheduled it for Friday!

Don't worry I didn't forget to post. I haven't gone to the ultrasound appointment yet. I have it tomorrow at 1:45pm so as soon as I get near a computer I will post. I am so excited to know what I am having I think that it will make it more realistic. I asked Trevor if he was excited for tomorrow and he didn't sound so excited. So I asked if he wanted a boy or a girl. He said that either would be amazing but he was actually worried about the health of the baby. He's funny. He doesn't have any bad feelings he is just hoping that everything will go good tomorrow. I love him so much. So tomorrow I will have Trevor and Tonya by my side when we find out what it is and I am happy that they can both be there with me.

My scrapbook program is awesome!

Hello everyone. I was playing around with my scrapbook program to see what I could make and didn't know that I could import the scrapbook pages into my blog. So the Christmas card was and accident but I love it so it will be staying up for a while.

Also I am just a couple of days away from finding out what I am having & I am ecstatic. Funny story - my cousin called me last weekend as I was weed eating the yard and just randomly said Grandma muscle tested you for twins. My reaction - uh okay, what are you talking about? My grandma uses some energy test that she can do on I think anyone that she knows and she asked the "energy" If I was pregnant with a girl and the answer was yes and then she asked again if I am pregnant with a boy and the answer was yes. Kinda weird. So my options are I am having one baby and no one will know till Tuesday(my favorite) , I am having Two babies one boy, one girl or I am having a hermaphrodite. Ahhh. Okay no more of this crazy Energy stuff, I just want to find out now. If any of you know me very well, you know that I am very impatient when it comes to exciting things and I am kinda spontaneous. Hence getting all my hair cut off one night by some random person at a salon when I really wanted it done but I couldn't get my hair girl to do it. Yes I am only slightly crazy.

Anyhow, I am so excited to have tomorrow off of work so I can sleep in and go hang out with my Hubby at work. Business isn't going that well and I will attempt to keep his mind off of it. Every time I go out to his office for the day he loves it when I am there but he thinks that I am particularly annoying when he has to see me when he gets home too. He's a goof but I love him. We love to annoy each other sometimes - mostly he loves to annoy me, so I am only being fair when I do my share every once in a while.

~Love you all and wish you a Merry Christmas~

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Trev and I had a blast this last week at the dunes. I even made it back in time to make it to my families Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. Tammy (my mother in-law) brought a notebook called the Whiting Thankful Journal. We tried to come up with 1000 things we were thankful for over the couple of days we were at the dunes. We came up with several but I don't think we made it all the way to 1000. I just thought that it was such a great idea especially since it feels like thanksgiving was not such a big deal to a lot of people. Anyway just a quick idea for everyone for next year.

Ohh P.S. I talked to my sister in-law and she said because I knew exactly when I ovulated she told me to calculate accordingly so I am currently 16 weeks and 3 days. Yah! I am just so excited to find out what I am having so I can start the shopping spree ha ha (my husband would kill me, that was definitely a joke).

14 Weeks down 26 Weeks to go

So, my belly always seems to get a little bigger towards the end of the day and this was at 9pm so it looks bigger than it really is. Supposedly I should be able to feel movement in the next weeks or so. Morning sickness has somewhat subsided. I only get real sick if I don't get something to eat the second I get hungry. I am so thankful that I have made it through the first trimester yay!!! On that note, I have changed Doctors. I was not very pleased with the bedside manner of my last Doctor so I chose to look elsewhere for care. My sister loved this Doctor but I really had a bad feeling about her and I think I am very intuitive so I have and appointment scheduled for tomorrow with a Dr. Brass-Jones tomorrow. I was told by one of the Labor and Delivery nurses I know that she is all about the Natural childbirth and that she would be very supportive with what I want to do(hypnobirthing). My last doctor laughed at me when I told her that I wanted to give birth all natural and I would have loved to do so in water put it is not possible if I want to have it in a hospital for safety reasons. She also scared the crap out of me at my first appointment and she didn't do so in the nicest way either so. I am no longer living in the past and I have high hopes for the future. I have a huge weight lifted off my shoulder knowing that she will not be delivering my baby. So here is my little belly.

14 Weeks

Pictures

Amanda, my sister, Finally blogged and said that she didn't have any pictures of us so I thought I would blog a couple of us girls.

(left to right)
Amanda, Me & Shannon

This was Christmas time many many years ago. I am pretty sure we were all snuggled up at my dads house about to watch a movie.

Amanda and Me on my wedding day. Oh and this was just a couple months after Amanda had the twins and she was back to the same size in no time. I hope that I have that gene in me.

(Shannon, Mom, Me & Amanda)

This was this summer. My mom took us to the mountains for a girls weekend and we had tons of fun. We went horse back riding , out to eat and hung out in the cabin. Mom also took us around and showed us her parents old cabin and several other little things.

Shannon and Me at the Tim McGraw concert. My mom and Danny were there as well. Danny got the Tickets and took us. Amanda was out of town I believe so she did not go. Shannon and I look so much a like it is kinda crazy. Although, she now works with me and nobody knew we were sisters unless they were told. OH well.

I am so happy to have my sisters they are great friends and I love spending time with them. And hopefully they can handle me long enough to hang out.

We have all grown up too fast. I remember living in the same house as Amanda and we never ever got along. I was a pretty intense person so I definitely don't blame her at all. I know they thought it was weird to think that I could get married but now having a baby, even weirder. Life is all too short I really wish I could remember more about all of us when we were little.

First Dunes Trip of the Season

Okay for those of you who know me and my husbands family we all love to go to the dunes together. I was so excited to go this weekend even though I knew it was going to be freaking hot. It wasn't actually that bad. I didn't take any pictures this time but I have a couple cute ones from last season. We are going back Thanksgiving Weekend so I will try to remember to take some good ones.

Baby Appointment

Today I had my first actual baby appointment. We got to hear the heart beat and it was so cute. I asked Trevor if he thought hearing the baby was cool. His response was "Yes, but I got a little scared when it took her so long to find it". He so funny.

The doctor said my baby was being stubborn just like my veins because it was sitting way down in my pelvis cavity. They had to poke me 3 times to draw the blood they needed. The nurse started in my right arm but couldn't find the vein, then went to my left and found one but it ruptured about half way through filling only 3 of the 6 viles she needed. So she had to draw the rest from my left hand and that one hurt the most afterward.

I really don't mind getting my blood drawn I like to watch them put the needle in, but the thing I like most is that my blood just gets sucked out of my body into this little tube. Anyway, no wonder I want to be a nurse I am a weirdy.

I am still convinced its a girl but we shall see in about 70 days because I can't do it till at least 18 weeks but 18 weeks for me falls on December 23rd two days before Christmas so we will wait until the 2nd week in January. I will be 21 weeks by then.

Baby update

Everything is looking great for me. I don't have anything wrong other that the every morning and night nausea. But I am completely willing to be sick all the time if I get to bring a cute little baby (girl, at least I think so) into this world.

Every website I go to says that you aren't showing by 7 1/2 weeks but I am feeling a little larger than normal and haven't been eating more so I don't know what those websites are talking about. I officially love dresses and skirts because other than 2 pairs of pants nothing really fits right or if I can shove it on my body I don't feel very comfortable.

Midnight snacks are also my friend. Every night I have dreams about food at around 2 -3 O'clock in the morning. I keep a pack of peanut butter crackers next to my bed so I can have a snack and not have to move to far. I love it. :)

My October Break

I am so happy to get this next week off work. It is October Break at Montessori Centre!! I have October 3rd-October 12th off. Wahoo!!! I don't plan on doing anything exciting but I am going to be watching my sisters 3 boys for her so she can save a little money and I can spend sometime with them. We'll hopefully go swimming and to the park but other than that probably just fun coloring ,movies and relaxation.

Don't get me wrong I love the kids I work with but after two months I need a little bit of a break.

Baby Whiting

Okay, I had to post this even though I know that you really can't see anything but I am so excited.

For those of you who don't know, I went to the Dr. last Wednesday and she told me that I have a high chance of a miscarriage. I was spotting and cramping and when she looked at the sac, she said it looked like it was collapsing. Through this all I tried my hardest to be strong and stay positive and it totally paid of. This morning we say the baby's heartbeat and what looks like a cocoon but is a baby. Trev and I are so excited that we have been blessed with this baby and I know that our prayers helped this little one along.

My levels (hcg and progesterone) were very high so the Dr. looked to see if I was having twins but we can only see one. So I am pretty sure that means its a single pregnancy. Although I always get this weird feeling when I read about twins or think about having them.

Sleep - Sick - Back to sleep again

This whole pregnancy thing is quite interesting. The last time I felt remotely normal was several days ago. My sinuses have been the worst that I have ever experienced and I have dealt with sinus stuff before. Because I have so much drainage I have a very difficult time sleeping and then on top of that I either have the stomach flu or this is what my whole pregnancy is going to be like. Running to the bathroom several times a night, can't sleep. Yep I'm sure you didn't want to hear that. But no matter how sick I get I am so grateful to be able to create this beautiful life that is growing in side of me.

Brody, one of my cute dogs, is so close to me I swear she knows when I am not feeling good and she just comes and snuggles with me. The other morning I was having a hard time getting ready for work because I had absolutely no energy but every time I looked down Brody was just staring at me and following me around. I know that my dog and I are close but I didn't think she knew when I wasn't feeling good. Some of you may think that I am crazy, but my dogs are like my little children. My dogs go everywhere except NY and Hawaii with us. I love them

I had a little scare last week but I know that my body will overcome this and my baby will be as healthy as any baby could possibly be. I try to get up and read an affirmation or two about me or my day or my health. It seems to help and anytime during the day when I start to not feel so great I reassure my body that everything will be okay and that this is what it is made to do. It is amazing how the body can be so -- mind over matter.

I am thankful that Trevor is there for me just assuring me everyday that everything will be okay and that this will all work out the way our Heavenly Father wants it to be. I am so grateful for the Savior and for the Family that I have been blessed with, and my amazing but sometimes difficult husband.

Trevor is going to be an amazing dad I just can't wait to see him in action. He loves playing with everyone else children and I know that he will adore his own little one.

I Love Friends & Family

I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have my family here to support me in all that I do and any hard times that I am going through. I can't imagine what it would be like to move away from my family. I'm especially love my sisters and for the close relationship we have now. Like most siblings, growing up together was not so pretty. I was a violent, feisty little girl, but now that we are all grown up both of my sisters and I have a very good relationship. I am so glad I have two pairs of shoulders to lean on when I need it.

I am grateful for Trevor's family and the strong bonds we have with them. I love going on family vacations and going to family dinner every Sunday. I have the greatest sister in-laws. I am so blessed that my best friend is my amazing sister in-law Tonya, whom I absolutely adore. She is so sweet and smart and always says the right things when I need to hear them. Oh and recently she hasn't minded me asking stupid little questions about medicine. She and her husband Daniel are Trevor and my best friends and we love spending time with them.

I am also very grateful for my friends/co-workers. Being an assistant in their class has been so much fun and we have formed an amazing bond between one another. Three girls stuck in a classroom with 37 children we have to know each other well enough to know when the other is going to have a breakdown or needs to take a rest for a minute. We all share our drama and give pointers to one another and I am so grateful for their helpful guidance.

Tate & Talan's Birthday Bash

Tate & Talan turn 3 years old tomorrow. I just can't believe how fast they have grown up. Amanda has done such a great job raising all 3 boys and they are so dang cute.

Tate and Talan were born at 34 weeks and they were both 4lb and a couple of ounces. They were so tiny, and fragile.

They had their birthday party on Saturday with all the family. They had tons of fun.

(Austin, Talan, Tate & Riley)

They have grown up to be some pretty crazy little kids. They love to hang out with the other boys in our family and try to skateboard and ride scooters like big boys. I got to hang out with them two weekends ago out at my sister Shannon's house and took some cute pictures of all the boys.

I HAVE A VIRUS. AHHHH !

I have a computer virus. I tried to do a system restore but my computer won't let me. I have to erase all of the data off my computer, save it on a hard drive and then put it all back on and hope that the virus doesn't come back. AHH. Oh and I also lost my Windows CD so I have to either buy a new one or hope that dell gives me a new one for free. ha ha. Wish me luck. So I might not be blogging for a while.

Breaking Dawn

Okay I love to change my background. My sister in-law Tonya tells me that every time I change my background I must Blog so here I am. I am so excited for the new Twilight series book the Breaking Dawn. I watched an interview on you tube with Stephanie Meyers. She said that this is the final book of the series and that she is currently working on a book in Edwards perspective, which I think will be very interesting. I love her books because they are so good and so easy to read. I currently am going to start reading Chasing Harry Winston which is by the same author who wrote The Devil Wears Prada. So I will keep you posted on how I like that. By the way I just can't seem to pick The Host up. It sounds way too science fiction for me and I have heard it is a little on the weird side so let me know if you think differently.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

This looks fun and I have seen it on many of my friends blogs so here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

HAWAII

So I finally decided to post my trip to Hawaii. Trevor and I went with his family June 7th through the 16th and it was amazing.

below is mostly for my family to see what we did when we were there. If you are not interested in reading all about it, enjoy the pics.

6/7/08 Saturday ~ got to Hawaii 9:30pm and car rental place closed at 10pm we so didn't make it but this really cool guy driving the Alamo bus picked us up and tried to take us to the enterprise were we rented our car from but instead we just rented two vans from them overnight to get us to our house. Then we went back on sunday to get out 15 passenger van to lug us all around together.

6/8/08 Sunday ~ We layed around got over our jet lag and played some wii.

6/9/08 Monday~ We went to the Polynesian Culture Center for the day. We got the Super Ambassadors Pass and I highly recommend it to all who go to the PCC. You are able to sit in the front row, participate in all the action and also in our case be the last to the Luau but the first to eat. We also sat front and center at the night show and it was so cool watching all the people up close. We could feel the flames from the fire of the Samo fireknife guy.

6/10/08 Tuesday ~ So Trevor tried his hardest to find swimming with the Manta rays at night but they only had it on the big island and we were not about to spent all that money to fly there and back. So he decided to look into swimming with the sharks. Kinda scary but totally worth it. Jenna, Daniel and I got sea sick and ended up throwing up either in the shark cage or over the side of the boat. Then we went to Motsumotos. I guess it is rated pretty high on the travel channel for places to stop while in Hawaii. They have amazing shaved ice and usually a really long line but on this day there was none at all. Then on the way back we stopped at the Dole Plantation, delicious pineapple.

6/11/08 Wednesday~ We woke up pretty early and drove about and hour to go scuba diving at sharks cove. I have only been scuba diving once before in Mexico but that was nothing compared to this. The clearest water with at least probably 30 feet of visability. We say two sea turtles and played with two octopi. Our scuba instructor has an awesome website http://scubadrewvideo.typepad.com/waterblog/ its really cool. There is a video on there of a seal breathing air on the underneath of a tunnel. Very cool

6/12/08 Thursday~ We started off going to Pearl Harbor. We weren't able to go through all the museums and places we wanted but we got to see a few things. Later that day we went on an amazing helicopter ride all around the island. We saw beautiful waterfalls, clear blue waters and Pearl Harbor from above as well as many more beautiful sites. Definitely recommend that.

6/13/08 Friday~ We didn't have anything planned so we decided to go golfing. Trevor and I have been golfing on and off for the last couple of years, you could say it's our hobby together. We are both decent. It was a pretty cool golf course, very unique holes but it had an beautiful view. It was kinda funny watching Tyler and Trey golf because they are so tall and the clubs were not quite tall enough. Trey had the best sock line sunburn it was hillarious.

6/14/08 Saturday~ We didn't have anything planned so we went swimming in the ocean, found a baby puffer fish and played with it. Then I decided to lay out for a little while and read a book. I was only out there for about an hour and I was as red as a tomatoe and I am still peeling from it. It hurt so so so bad.

6/15/08 Sunday~ We had to be out of the house at 11am and our flight didn't leave until 9pm so we stopped at the park to eat all the left over food we had in the house and we had a lot of food to spare after lunch so we saw a group of people who definitely looked homely so Daniel asked if they wanted our food and they graciously took it. Then we went to the temple which was incredible and watched a movie(The Incredible Hulk), not at the temple we went to the movie theaters of course. Then we did a little more shopping and went to the airport and left my dream home behind.

Got home 8am 6/16/08 Monday morning, went straight to sleep for most of the rest of the day

I am so thankful that Tammy and Trey helped all of us get there because we had a great time.

Dr. Tonya Whiting

Dr. Tonya Whiting & Daniel(her husband)

So Friday June 6th my sister in-law Tonya graduated from Midwestern University as a D. O. She showed up at my work to show her mom and me her new, long white coat. She looked great. She is currently doing her residency at Good Sam, in Phoenix. She is going to go into Critical Care (ICU). She is going to do great things.

Amy, Tonya's sister in-law, made this amazing masterpiece of a cake. There was so much detail, it was incredible. The goze on the left in the picture looked so realistic, it had the little tiny squares in it. She doesn't have her own business but she has a huge talent

CORN SUCKS!

So Tuesday at work I made myself a cheese crisp on a corn tortilla and my face turned bright red hot and I felt sick. Well I tried to figure out what did it, so I told my sister-in-law Tonya, who is graduating from Medical very very soon, and she said that I needed to see a allergy specialist. So I will soon know for sure, but I am almost positive it is corn. Now when I eat corn I get this wonderful rash on my hand and red spots all over my body. Doesn’t this sound fun!

Trev and I were talking about how neither of us were allergic to anything just the other night. Kinda ironic! If anyone has any pointers let me know.

Last dunes for the season!

Well dunes season is over for our family. Very sad but oh so true. A couple of weekend Trev and I went to San Diego with his family. It was tons of fun we even dined with Shamu. So the following pictures are of the last dunes trip I had pictures from.

Yes this is me. GOOFY!

Update on life!

So it's been a while since my last post, but nothing real exciting has happened. The only thing remotely exciting is that I am done school until I get accepted into nursing school and for Christmas Trevor's little brothers bought me my digital negatives of my wedding. I think I look at them about once a day. I love remembering that day and all the people that were there to support me and my new life. Here are a couple of really great pictures I love.

My mom did such a great job on my wedding cake!

This picture is so cute. As you can see I also set it as my header on my blog.

This weekend we went to this really cool dog park on Greenfield and Ray. I didn't get any pictures of Kolby in the lake there but it was hillarious. She did not want to get out.

Brody & Kolby playing!!!
