1st Dunes Trip

Kherrington had her first trip to the Sand Dunes. We went to Buttercup for Thanksgiving with all of the Whiting's and Scotts. It was a ton of fun and Kherrington had a blast. She went on her first rail ride and she loved it. We just drove around camp in the rail but she was josseling around but of course still so happy. We purchased a Einstein saucer play thing before we went so that she could be outside without eating the sand. It is now her favorite thing to be in. I am so grateful for it because I can have her sit and play in it right next to me while I study in the office. She is the most amazing thing and I am most thankful for her and my wonderful husband. I love having her around because even when Trevor and I are mad at eachother for some stupid reason we both just look at her and get so happy. She brings such joy to our lives as well as everyone elses life she gets to be in. She is always so happy and enjoyable to be around. I think it has a lot to do with all the affirmations Grandma Tammy reads her everyday. (Thank you Tam:)

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. PS I think that most of my posts are going to be pictures from here on out due to the lack of time I have to blog. I always want to but can't find much time to write. So enjoy the Pics Fell free to comment I'll try to respond.

Nursing School is almost over.....for the semester. One down three to go. I love it and can't wait to get a little break this Christmas.

Almost 15 pounds and counting

Well, Hello fellow bloggers. I haven't posted for over a month again. Oh Well!! Alot has happened since my last post.
~Kherrington had her second Pediatrician appointment and she weighed 14lb 12oz she was 26.5in long and head is 43cm its been a week  though so I am sure she weighs at least 15 lbs now. She is doing great. I think she is starting to teethe a little bit. Drooling all over the place and chewing on her hands like crazy. She has starting grabing and reaching for things. It seems that every time she grows it is a massive burst of new things for her. talking (screeching) grabbing, staring, and laughing. It is just purely amazing.
Update on Megan ~
Well I Started Nursing School Last Monday. I have been mentally preparing for months but it is finally here. The first week was kinda nerve racking but  I survived. I didn't cry when I left Kherrington, that was a big step for me. I think it has a lot to do with who I am leaving her with. I know that she is in the greatest care of my mother in-law. Tammy sends me pictures of Kherrington playing and sleeping in her office. I thoroughly enjoy them. I pulled out my phone and smiled last week and one of my class mates asked why I was smiling so I had to show her my beautiful baby girl. Then everyone else wanted to see so I continued to pass my phone around so everyone could see her. I loved showing her off to all my classmates. The more I think about being a nurse and helping all the people in need I get excited, I also get excited about making a lot more money, as long as Obama doesn't pass socialized Medicine!!!
~ THE RETURN OF ELDER THOMAS WHITING
One of Trevor's brothers returned home from his mission in Chicago, Illinois on the 6th of August and we have been enjoying spending time with him.
~ BLESSING KHERRINGTON~
We blessed Kherrington on the 16th of August and Trevor did and amazing job. Of course I cried as I think every mother does when their child receives their first blessing from their father. It was so sweet and he had so many great things to say and help Kherrington in her life with. Ahh I think I might cry again.

Jenna spent and hour outside with me and Kherr bear during Tomo's homecoming party and the pictures turned out amazing I only have 3 right now but I will post more when she gets them to me. She is definately getting better the more she practices. She even surprised herself with this one....
I forgot to mention that my amazing mother made this dress.
She showed up at the last minute and said that there was no way that
her granddaughter was going to wear a bought dress for her blessing.
She did such and amazing job. If you click on the picture you can see the dress
even better. Thank you mom for making it. I am so happy that Kherrington
(and generations to come) will be able to wear this dress. It was so precious
and I know I am a mom now because I cried over a cute little dress.

Over a month

So, it has been over a month since I last posted. Life as a working mom is hectic. So I started back at work in June and only go in for a couple of hours a day but at least I am getting myself out of the house for a little while. We took another trip to Vegas for Griffin's blessing and got to spend more quality time with Brando, Chelsa and all the rest of the wonderful Squires Clan. All the babies are doing well and growing so quickly. Kherrington now weighs in at about(drum roll) 13 pounds WOW!! how they grow. She had her first swimming pool experience with Aunt Tonya and Me. She also has had two trips to the lake this month. Grandpa Trey is determined to make purchasing a slip at Roosevelt worth the money. That's okay with us, we love going to the lake. It took me quite a while to find a shop that sells infant life jackets. I finally found one at Ski Pro and it is so darn adorable. She doesn't mind it either. She actually fell asleep in it on Saturday at the lake. Trevor and I are enjoying and loving life as parents. With the closing of Sun Silks Trevor started working at Great Gates at the beginning of the month with Tyler and his dad. He enjoys the challenge of learning something new. We are also currently remodeling our guest bathroom because everything in there wasfrom 1980 -the original bathroom- and needed a major upgrade. We can't bathe our precious baby girl in a tub filled with mold and mildew. We will be blessing Kherrington on Sunday the 16th of August and hearing Thomas speak that same day. We are so excited for Thomas to meet his very first niece Kherrington. We are so blessed to have such an amazing little baby. She knows my needs and sleeps pretty soundly through the night. With the occasional wake-up. Thats my update on our lives. wahoo I actually posted!! ENJOY THE PICS TO FOLLOW

D-backs game

Daniel and Tonya invited us to Saturday's Diamondbacks game against the Astros. So Kher Bear had her first experience at the ball park. We had lots of fun even though the D-backs choked yet again. Here are some lovely pictures of that night.

Gotta love the tongue!

Check out the guy in the background of this picture.

Check out her beautiful Chubby Cheeks

Smiling and hanging out with Uncle Daniel- He rarely smiles for cameras and it looks like he was holding back for this picture too.

This is a picture of her snoozing after church on Sunday. She just looks so adorable I couldn't pass up this picture.

Trip to Visit the Squires

So we traveled to LasVegas, NV last weekend to see baby Josie blessed. We arrived on Friday night right before Chelsa's baby shower and immediately started taking pictures of Griffin and Kherrington. They snuggled for the first time, but not the last! Griff packed on some weight real fast, he has some amazing thighs, but so does Kherr Bear now. Chelsa's baby shower went well and then we got Fizolli's for dinner. Oh how I miss Fizolli's, they closed the one right by our house, so sad because I love there frozen lemonade, AHH! Saturday we had this woman come to Chelsa's house where we were staying and had her do castings of all three of the babies hands and feet. It was amazing and such a great keepsake. Thank you to all the Squires for that gift. We had dinner at Brad and Lori's house and ate amazing navajo taco's, I so need that recipe for dough and Brad's amazing salsa. Sunday we had Josie's blessing and then lunch and headed on home to the AZ heat. Kherrington did great on the ride there and back home. We will be returning to LasVegas on July 3rd for Griffins blessing that Sunday and I can't wait to see everyone again and see how all the babies have grown.

9lbs and counting

So my little Kherr bear is chubbin up. I weighed her yesterday and she is about 9 pounds. She has a little roll on each of her legs and it is so adorable. Here are a couple of pictures. Sorry it took so long, taking care of a baby is a lot of work as all of you with little ones should know. We are going out of town this weekend to visit family in Las Vegas and I will post pictures from that because Kherr is going to meet her cousin whom is one week younger than her.

It was easier for me to make a collage than to try to post all of the pics separate. you should be able to click on the picture to see it larger. My baby girl changes so much everyday and is growing so fast. We are all healthy and doing very well and we are so blessed for that.

Love Kherrington & Megan

San Diego

I forgot to post about my trip with the Whitings to San Diego in March. It was tons of fun we went to SeaWorld and Disneyland. I couldn't go on any rides but I was the OFFICIAL BAG WOMAN!!! I rode around on a wheelchair at each park. I love the picture of Me and Tanner on the wheelchair. The boys would take off and race around the park with them, it was hilarious. And yes all the boys did it even the adults. I enjoy going on vacation with Trevor's family because as a kid we didn't get to go places very often.

Kherr Bear

I will be posting more pics but her is an Update on Kherr Bear. We had our first Dr. Appointment on Friday and she is a whooping 7lb still 19in and she is still a little jaundice but the doc just told me to feed her a little more often to help get rid of it. She is in the 5th % for weight, 10th % for height and 50th% for head size. her head was just over 14in. As Trevors says "She looks different everyday when I come home from work." She is an ever changing beauty. She has thined out and her color is still amazing. She is awake a little more often now so I try to be there to entertain her every waking moment.

She might just be a movie freak like her daddy. We have already seen "Star Trek" and "Angels and Demons". She has also been cultured, we have listened to Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. I love to sing Les Miserables to her when she is eating. She is amazing and I thank Heavenly Father for her everyday- even when she keeps me up at night!

April 28th 3:02am My Precious Little Bundle Of Joy

Kherrington Tamara Whiting greeted us at 3:02am on April 28th 2009. Started having hard contractions around noon on Monday and my water broke while I was in the triage around 5 that day. Was fully dilated by 1am and had her at 3. Everything went very well. She looks absolutely amazing. It is still really crazy to think that I am a mommy and that she was growing inside me just one week ago. Here are some pics of our precious bundle of joy.
